Dr. Xavier Delgadillo, European Board in Coloproctology, was born in Bolivia, his family descents from Basque-Spanish origins.
Xavier graduated at the American Institute in Cochabamba. He continued his studies at the Major University of St. Simon. In 1992, he obtained the medical surgeon diploma with the second-highest honor. He continued his training in general and abdominal surgery at the University of Louvain, Belgium.
Additional extensive training in colo-anal surgery was settled with obtaining the certificate of Proctologist at the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG) in Switzerland. Several years of experience as a University Assistant Professor are to be mentioned: (Brussels, Charleroi, Geneva, La Chaux-de-Fonds). Later he was appointed as a consultant physician at the proctology Hospital Foundation in Le Locle (Switzerland), Bielefeld Krankenhaus (Germany). He continued his surgical career at the Clinic Montbrillant in La Chaux- de- Fonds until 2017.
